By sending us information, for example by creating a YAKAJOBS account, you enable us to improve our services. In particular, we can display more relevant ads and jobs, making it much easier for you to find the retiree you’re looking for. We want you, as a user of our services, to understand how we use your data and how you can protect your privacy.

Information you give us: to access our services, you must create a YAKAJOBS account. In this case, you provide personal information, such as your contact details and experiences, which are stored in your account. To put your chances on your side, you may need to add photos and videos to your YAKAJOBS account. Examples: when you consult our content and advertisements and perform actions on them. How we use the data we collect

The data we collect enables us to provide, manage, protect and improve our services, to develop new ones, and to protect both our users and ourselves. This data also enables us to offer you more relevant content, such as ads and jobs.

If you have a YAKAJOBS account, we can display your contact details, measurements, photo and any other information you provide in your member area to all our members. If your profile is private, your information will only be visible to our registered members. We will comply with the sharing or visibility settings you define in your YAKAJOBS account.

When you contact YAKAJOBS, we keep a record of your communication in order to better resolve any problems you may encounter. We may use your e-mail address to keep you informed, for example, of future changes or improvements to our services.

We use the information provided by cookies and other technologies, such as pixel tags, to offer you a better user experience and improve the overall quality of YAKAJOBS. Google Analytics and Facebook Pixels are products we use for this purpose on our site.

We process your personal data and photos on OVH servers located in Europe and on Amazon servers located in Europe. Your personal data may therefore be processed on a server located outside your country of residence.

Delete your account permanently. Your information will then be removed from search engines. Use your member area to check and control certain types of data related to your YAKAJOBS Account. Through the settings in your member area, you can view and modify your preferences regarding jobs presented to you on the YAKAJOBS.com site, such as the categories that may be of interest to you. Control who you share your data with through your YAKAJOBS account. Delete, add or modify data associated with your YAKAJOBS account.

You can also set your browser to block all cookies, including those related to our services, or to notify you when we send one.

Please note, however, that many of our services may not function properly if you disable cookies. They won’t take your language preferences into account, for example.

Data you share

YAKAJOBS lets you share your data with others. Remember that when you share information publicly, it can be indexed by search engines such as Google. Our services offer you several ways of sharing and deleting your content.

When you use our services, we want you to have access to your personal information. In the event of an error, we will ensure that you can promptly update or delete them, unless we need to retain them for legitimate business purposes or are required to do so by law.

We regularly check our compliance with this Privacy Policy. We also comply with a number of self-regulatory charters, notably the General Privacy Regulation. When we receive an official written complaint, we contact the user to follow up the matter. We cooperate with the relevant authorities, including local data protection authorities, to resolve any disputes concerning the transfer of personal information that we are unable to settle directly with the user.
